Thousands of North Carolina Felon can Now Register and Vote

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Tens of thousands of people serving punishments for felony convictions in North Carolina but who aren’t behind bars can now register to vote and cast ballots following an appeals court ruling.
should not be able to vote if they are under the control of the government. A government agent like a jail guard or a probation officer could demand they vote a certain way under threat of punishment. They dont have free will.
