...they will lose anything you let em hold. Drivers license, keys, even your trade in if ya got one. If ya ain't gonna trade anything in they will want ya keys so they can move your car and they will claim they gave them both to somebody and they can't find em. Next to politicians auto sales people are the most dishonest folks on earth.

I say only three things to the car sales manager

I often make an appointment with the fleet sales manager. Yes, they will sell one car to an individual. They do just what you are talking about - put in all the options you want and give you the price for the car. They are not paid by commission, so there is nobody running to stop you from leaving.

They last car I bought I made the mistake of talking to the salesman and, when he took my license co ‘make a copy’ he LOST IT! I had to do my test drive on the dealer’s lot. They finally found it and I did buy the same car FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!

Next time it is back to the fleet sales manager.
