Proud member of “Do-Something Twitter” called out by Christina Pushaw for his stance on “privilege moms”

As Twitchy readers know, The New York Times had quite the hit piece on parents who have voiced their concern over mask and vaccine mandates. Self-described proud member of “Do-Something Twitter” (no, we don’t know what that means either) Will Stancil, having failed to get the memo on which words are unacceptable these days, had a few things to say about the replies to the column. He felt the need to drag Florida Governor Ron DeSantis into the mix, which did not go unnoticed by the Governor’s Press Secretary Christina Pushaw.
Sheera Frenkel (@sheeraf) ~ I interviewed 27 parents across the US who adopted anti-vaccine positions during the pandemic, and heard strikingly similar stories of feeling left behind by the government and finding their way to online rabbit holes.

Will Stancil (@whstancil) ~ Replies to this are unbelievably insane.
Anti-vaccine, anti-mask, anti-closure privilege moms are the worst political creation of the pandemic. And it’s a group that includes a lot of our faves.
Symptoms of Privilege Momhood:
* “mom” in Twitter bio
* obviously wealthy
* years-long fixation with school closures and masking
* reports being “politically homeless”
* strangely curious about DeSantis and Libs of TikTok
Prognosis:
* high likelihood of future fascist politics
First of all, here is Will Stancil's Twitter bio ... "I do metro policy research, focused on fair housing, school integration, and demography. Proud member of Do-Something Twitter. Opinions are very much my own."
Apparently, Will is a research fellow at the Institute on Metropolitan Opportunity (University of Minnesota). His work focuses on civil rights law and policy in housing and education, with particular emphasis on affordable housing and charter schools. From his tweets, there is a rather strong indication that Will's "focus" is strongly influenced by one Karl Marx.
Second, WTF is "Do-Something Twitter"? Oh ... I see. Here is their logo ...
... and here is their tagline ...
"Inspiring and empowering you to change the world. Let's Do This!"
BWHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
Third, so ... according to Will ... if you are a woman with "Mom" in your Twitter bio, you ARE without any doubt whatsoever:
* Privileged
* Obviously wealthy
* Fixated on school closures and masking
* "Politically homeless"
* Strangely obsessed with FL Governor DeSantis and Libs of TikTok
* A Fascist.
Hmmm ... no, Will ... what is actually quite obvious is that you are a clueless dumbf*ck who needs to get a life ... or move your worthless ass to Pyongyang where you will find like-minded comrades.
Now, back to the travails of Will's benighted existence ...
We’re not sure how having the word “mom” in your Twitter bio equates to privilege, let alone a likelihood of future fascist politics, but then again, we’re not insane.
Roxanne ❄️ Hoge (@RoxanneHoge) ~ {Replying to @whstancil} My years-long "fixation" w school closures & masking is due to Do Something childless progs' obsession w muzzling & isolating *my children*!
"Mom" is in my bio because I gestated, gave birth to (without drugs) & raised 4 human beings who deserve life, liberty & pursuit of joy!
Oooh ... don't look, now, Will ... but, Mama Roxanne just successfully bitch-slapped you! Heh heh heh heh heh.
Will is apparently not a fan of how his tweets were received:
IntellectualDorkWeb (@Intel_Dork) ~ {Replying to @whstancil} Yeah. We can't have reasonable people who've decided not to take the Covid shot have any type of audience on Twitter.
@cliftonaduncan has had to step away from his acting career because he made a medical decision.
People like you disgust me.
Will Stancil (@whstancil) ~ {Replying to @Intel_Dork and @cliftonaduncan} You’re anti-vaxxer scum and so is he.
Awww, poor lil' tyke ... Will got his lil' feelers hurt!
Nothing much gets by DeSantis Press Secretary Christina Pushaw, and this little rant didn’t either.
Will Stancil (@whstancil) ~ And again, a lot of these people seem to have an affection for DeSantis. The anti-vax parents are functioning as an advance team for the DeSantis presidential campaign and, I suspect, will be a major backdoor to DeSantis support in a lot of affluent, nominally liberal circles.
Christina Pushaw (@ChristinaPushaw) ~ {Replying to @whstancil} OR ...
Maybe they just like DeSantis because he didn’t lock kids out of school for 18 months, fire people over shots and boosters, or force toddlers to cover their faces with dirty cloth for 2 years?
Nah can’t be that, they must be mIsiNfOrMeD.
He started with a sweeping generalization, brought DeSantis into it for no reason, wished for death in prison on the Governor, and somehow still decided he was the victim:
Christina Pushaw (@ChristinaPushaw) ~ {Replying to @ChristinaPushaw} Why’d you delete this Will?
Will Stancil (@whstancil) ~ The spokeswoman for the governor of Florida tweeted at or about me, goading on the anti-vax mob, no fewer than EIGHTEEN TIMES.
Yep ... and she destroyed you all EIGHTEEN TIMES, pal.
As always, Pushaw had an answer:
Christina Pushaw (@ChristinaPushaw) ~ {Replying to @whstancil} Don't start none, won't be none.
