Stay in your blue state. Mask up. Be safe.
...mask up, hunker down and disarm. What could go wrong?

OK, here’s a tweet we know nothing about from someone we know nothing about, but it’s racked up about 8,400 replies over the past three days. We don’t know if it’s satire, but we checked the user’s timeline and it checks out as full-blown progressive. The question on the floor is if you would drive through a red state like Kentucky or Texas with New York State plates on your car, or are you not that brave?

ZephyrNCC1701RN2 (@ZephyrNCC1701) ~ My husband thinks I'm crazy because I refuse to visit or even drive THROUGH a red state because I dont feel safe. Would you drive through Kentucky or Texas with NY State license plates? Am I being obtuse?

KadyM (@KadyMuhammad1) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701} "Am I being obtuse?" Yes.

ZephyrNCC1701RN2 (@ZephyrNCC1701) ~ {Replying to @KadyMuhammad1} They walk around with AR-15s strapped to their backs. Still think I'm obutse?

On the contrary, Ms. Zephyr ... stay close to this guy while you're shopping and you should be quite safe.

Socal Crypto, Bane of Bears (@Socal_crypto) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701 and @KadyMuhammad1}
1: That isn't an AR-15 ... it looks to be a AK-47 ...

2: I'm not seeing the problem here.

3. Feel free to stay in NY.

THE MAYOR OF MATIC (@MayorOfMatic) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701 and @KadyMuhammad1} I’d rather drive through a red state with NY plates then have to ride the NYC subway system.

Melissa Mackenzie (@MelissaTweets) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701} Texas is so scary. I've lived in fear for 25 years. Don't come here. You'll be killed with kindness.

Stay in your blue state. Mask up. Be safe.

Noam Blum (@neontaster) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701} Congratulations for letting mass media scare you into stupidity.

Geoffrey Miller (@primalpoly) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701} I've spent the last two years driving back and forth across the US as a digital nomad.

The main difference between red states & blue states for road trips is that red states feel friendlier & safer -- plus they're generally cheaper & less crowded.

RGT 85 (@RGT_85) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701} That sounds more like something you should discuss with a mental health professional.

(((Road Bear Life))) (@bearshrugged) ~ {Replying to @ZephyrNCC1701} You are damaged, and do not even yet have the courage to admit you are damaged. I am nothing but sad for you and your husband, and hope you find a way to fix yourself.

Hmmm ... looks like she needs to take the advice of her t-shirt from her Twitter bio ...

Or, maybe she just needs to cloister herself to Democrat plantations.

Here is another photo from her Twitter bio ...

I feel very sorry for her husband.
