We’re going to take you back a bit, but do you remember “Julia” from the Obama administration? The White House had put out an illustration of what life for Julia would be like if all of the Democrats’ policies passed. In short, the government would provide for Julia from cradle to grave. (We don’t think they ever gave Julia a cartoon husband.) Julia’s life would be blissful because the government would take the place of her parents and her husband and pave the way right up until her death.
Well, Julia in real life is reaching a breaking point. She doesn’t have paid family leave. Her right to an abortion is under attack. She’s suffering burnout at work. Life sucks for Julia.
Bloomberg (@business) ~ No paid family leave. Abortion rights under attack. Burnout at work. Women in America are hitting a breaking point.

Claire Suddath writes:
When Roe v. Wade was overturned, I didn’t know about it for an hour. The verdict in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization came down around 10 a.m. EDT on a Friday in late June, while I was interviewing a woman who’d given birth in a hospital hallway because all of its delivery rooms were full. After we hung up, I had about 60 missed text messages from friends. I read the texts. Then the news. And then I went back to work. At the time, I was 24 weeks pregnant.
In the weeks since, I’ve found myself dwelling not on the immediate effects of the decision and what it means for my 2-year-old daughter’s future or even my own pregnancy, but on all the ways this country has shunted onto women the responsibility of keeping its society and economy running. I’ll fold my toddler’s onesies and think about how the US, a country in which two-thirds of mothers of young children work, has such a forceful “pro-life” movement, and yet it’s the only wealthy nation that doesn’t guarantee new moms time off work after they have a baby.
Hey, talk to the Democrats ... they control the House, Senate, and White House. If life as a woman is becoming harder under Biden, it’s because they can’t afford gas or groceries.
James (@James81569060) ~ Good. Now they can understand the consequences of equal rights and mysandry.
2022 Coach Crash (@Coach_Crash) ~ So, just like every other American adult? Got it.
M.P. (@TheAlphaGru) ~ Define what a woman is.
Ultra Mega The Media Is The Virus (@xnetpics) ~
HUM - XVG - 🔺- ₿ (@xvghum) ~ Abortion fixes this.
Get rid of baby, your boss will save $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, and you'll stay active in the workforce.
Your boss would rather pay for your abortion than maternity leave. You’ll be back at work the next day!
Amelia (@AmeliaHammy) ~ Fascinated by liberal pubs that somehow hold all of these views simultaneously and espouse them based on the situation: 1) women are strong, hear them roar; 2) let's recognize that some awesome women have a 🍆; & 3) women are fragile and almost always close to the breaking point.
James (@James81569060) ~ Every progressive, vanity riddled Karen is about to get what's coming to them. The West played itself and will soon be at the mercy of the New World order. 🌏
We can’t believe Suddath was so close-minded as to use the word “women” as opposed to “birthing people” or “vulva owners.” Oh, that’s right ... women also have the burden of being erased to make room for birthing people.
