Good morning De!
I am sure the sun has long risen in your neighborhood by now and likely ribit's as well.

Re: "kathy". That was indeed a small shock when she passed. She never mentioned anything that was life threatening to me either. I do remember she was having difficulty with balance and falling. I do not know why.
I know she was heart broken over the loss of her husband and missed him dearly..

I hope that I do not have to experience that phase of life.. Its hard for me to imagine life without my wife.

She is my opposite.. Which is why everyone likes her.

She never has any even semi- harsh words or criticisms of anyone. Except me.. lol!!! And those are mostly merited..

So what the difference was between Nemo and others basically was personality type..
Nemo when ya got to know him off the board was really a pretty sensitive person and he beleieved a lot of the things he posted on the board. We cannot prove any of those things to have been wrong, correct, or likely, somewhere in between..

Water over the dam at this point anyway.

Introspection is something many people are not accustomed to doing or good at when they try... Nemo was not good at that. Many people are not.. We tend to think we are usually right in our minds in most everything we say or do..

But people being what they are, can and do see things from different lenses and their brains dissct things and see them a bit different that someone else, and hence, we have disagreement. Depending on personality type, that difference of how one sees things can lead to some pretty strong feelings OR, to an open and objective mind, nothing at all.

It still amazes me how many people that once upon a time were around no longer are.

I suppose that is why we are to live one day at a time as if it were our last one here on this planet.

I guess that is the circle of life....

Re: “I do miss Nemo..”
I do too. It strikes me as a shame that he went holding a grudge over my criticism of a few of the articles he posted and sources he valued. They were things he didn't write and sources that weren't him. He had no reason to take it personally. He was a big boy, though, and he chose to leave things that way.

I really miss Kathy, aka Angie, aka H*. In two weeks, it will be the first anniversary of her passing. Learning of it hit me very hard. She was an extremely nice person and it was so sudden - to us, anyway. Like everyone here, I knew she had medical issues. I didn't think they were terminal. I don't think she thought they were either, but she did tell me in passing what one of the problems was. In hindsight, I should have known.
