At least a year and a half ago I made the bold prediction that there won't be a Nov 2022 election. By that I didn't preclude the PRETENSE of an election, but only a REAL election.
My thinking? That the Deep State + entrenched politicians (which does include plenty of nominal 'Republicans', still) had committed so many thousands of felonies, and worse, that they had nothing to lose by committing more. I don't think I am going to far in saying it is "worth their lives" to make sure they never lose, again, to Constitutional government election.
In the last weeks of Trump's 2016 Presidential run he made a Florida speech where he laid it out very clearly. To paraphrase him, he said that if he lost, nobody else, ever again, would get a chance to upset the Oligarchy.... That the oligarchy (Deep State/Administrative State) rules everything and only regards elections, and changing of politicians at a national level, as a sort of "bread and circus" to distract the masses.

Viewing that speech convinced me to dig deep and make the maximum allowable donation to his campaign, even though I knew that might make me a public target (and I'd been a Deep State target before).
So, although I won't claim I predicted ANY of the specific steps the Oligarchs would take, I was clear in my stated belief that they would stop at nothing. I expected, if nothing else, martial law to impede a 2022 honest election. I, therefore, wasn't THAT surprised by anything which came afterwards, even if I didn't expect the particulars.
I am of the opinion that the Deep State /Administrative State has many, many, many, increasingly forceful and blatant moves waiting in the wings if they think they need them. I think we, "the people", are naive almost beyond belief and almost laughable in our continual falling back on "laws", "honest politicians", "state enforcement of election integrity", and -- most of all -- thinking that the Deep State would hesitate at ANY LEVEL of criminal behavior. Even if they know they are going to be found out, they can't afford to lose.
And so, I think they are going to win.
I am interested in reasoned rebuttals and, perhaps even more, what other things you think they might be willing to do to get their outcome while keeping at least SOME plausible deniability and pretense that we actually still live in a Constitutional Republic/ "Democracy".
Losing the pretense of "Democracy" here would be extremely expensive, directly threatening the petro-dollar and really the whole international 'arrangement' by which the US EMPIRE is kept in power. So, I do think the Administrative State, and their minions (the Democrats+RINO Republicans) will go to extraordinary lengths to come up with new pretenses, false flags, etc. Their criminal and traitorous maneuvers will generally have some pretense, until and unless we get too close to election day and they think there is ANY chance of their losing control of the Senate.
I also want to point out that Republican politicians winning nominal control of the Senate doesn't really mean the Administrative State Traitors have actually lost: Romney, McConnell, and a number of other putative Republican Senators are still OWNED by the Oligarchy/Deep State. But, again, for those Senators to dramatically break ranks with what the Republican voters are expecting would make it uncomfortably clear to too many around the world what was actually going down. So I am still expecting a squeaky 'win' by the Democrats in the Senate or, at most, a Republican win by ONE (which can be offset at critical points by a Republican defecting vote).
