California is a mess. They have so many problems, crime, power outages, and now the San Fransico Bay is officially a cesspool.
The sewage has not been treated correctly and is dumping into the bay.

Poop and pee fueled the huge algae bloom in San Francisco Bay. Fixing the problem could cost $14 billion.

San Francisco Chronicle (@sfchronicle) ~ While scientists suspect climate change played a role in triggering the bloom, what fueled it is not a mystery. Algae blooms need food to grow, and this one had plenty: nutrients originating in wastewater.
Of course, climate change had to have a hand in the problem, it could not be just a crapton of pee and poop flowing into the bay without treatment ... *insert eye roll here* Oh, we can insert an eye roll. Here ya go.
Even Judge Judy is not buying that crud.
