Isn't it cool? AS A CORPORATION YOU CAN KILL PEOPLE EVERY YEAR, be found guilty of FELONY MANSLAUGHTER, and never go to jail! You just pop off another "reorganiation", pay a trivial few million in fines, RAISE RATES AGAIN, and off you go! It is the same thing with "government"!
Lowly humans are the slaves in "our" system - but they don't call them slaves, they call them 'citizens'. "Voting" is a sucky consolation prize at the bottom of the Cracker Jacks box, which distracts us from the perfidy and insanity of it all. Is this the best we can do?
Imagine a world where ALL corporations had to pay ALL the taxes, ordinary income (not including speculation nor capital gains) has NO taxes, and ALL the top corporate/government leadership is wide-opened to civil penalties, or even jail, when the corporation/government kills people! Why should 'deep pockets' only apply to individuals operating as individuals and sole proprietorships? That doesn't even make sense. But it makes Our Masters rich.
It sounds 'radical' to make the system fair, which is mainly because you have been brainwashed from the time you were born, to accept this as, somehow, 'better' and 'more efficient' and maybe even 'necessary' to 'liberty'. Free your mind!
I predict the end of the financialization/"stonks" chimera is coming soon as we breach peak indebtedness and complete wipe out of Fascism and its bubbles all the way down model. The money can never be repaid because it is all a Ponzi...internalize profit and externalize cost!
I don't know what is coming next, but I expect it to be much different...and I think a lot more local. Energy and massive resource depletion has fueled this period of insanity, of growth beyond and hope of sustainability. It's going to be a hell of a ride. Buckle up!
