I think Arizona, Utah, and Idaho are pretty tightly connected through their Mormon roots. I aslo think Ohio is more connected to Indiana and Pennsylvania than to Kentucky and West Virginia. I think these three states would stand alone. (Willing to stand aside for our Ohio expert. Very Happy )

I think these changes will happen slowly, at least to start.

Re: “BTW, if he states something as if it is a FACT, and it conflicts with your opinion, I suggest you discard your opinion.”
I didn't hear many facts that aren't already well known to those of us on this board. The statement that North Korea has sent 100,000 soldiers to help Ukraine was interesting. How could something like that be unknown to the world? North Korea is so isolationist that I have my doubts. I also think they'd have a good number of soldiers seeking asylum or going rogue.

Martin's prediction that the United States will break up is extremely interesting. He thinks CA-WA-OR would form one country while the Northeast would form another. I took it further (see image, below) and project five distinct political regions: • The Pacific states • WI, IL & MI, • The Northeast + VA, • NV, AZ, NM, CO, • The Midwest & oil states.

I could see NV, AZ, NM & CO joining with the Pacific states. I could see AK going independent but more likely going with the other oil producers. I could see VA going instead with the Midwest & oil states. And I could see WI, IL & MI going with the Northeast.

What do the rest of you think? Possible? Impossible? Too far ahead to say? Or do you see different divisions? If it were to happen, I wouldn't be too surprised to see portions of Canada joining in. Nor would I be surprised to see some states breaking in two.

I love NH, but if this were to happen, I'd move.
