Well,
My 'belief system' is based upon decades of reading the news . . . contemplating what was said and what it meant. And asking myself 'does this make sense'? Right about now it would take something severely compelling to get me to change my 'belief system'.
And when somebody lies to me . . . well, it is an automatic thing - I should NOT trust or believe and should most certainly look for the hook.
Did your guy say that N.Korea had sent 100,000 troops to Ukraine to fight for Russia? Or did he repeat the news that N. Korea was 'offering' or thinking about doing so? One is a lie and the other isn't.
Does N. Korea sending 100,000 troops to Ukraine make sense? Not really. It looks like half of N. Korea's army is half starved conscripts - poorly trained and more likely to be target practice for the Ukrainians than effective soldiers. Would N. Korea really send their 'best and most capable' to Ukraine? Doubtful. Paranoid 'little rocket man' is not about to strip away his 'army of deterrence' that keeps S. Korea from over-running the joint. (I also believe S. Korea has no desire to invade N. Korea - if only because they do not want to have to 'provide' what the populace of N. Korea needs to move into the 21st century.)

Jan-6. 'Armed Insurrection'? 'Riot gone wild'? Or demorat false flag operation?
Armed insurrection? Not a chance. NONE of Trumps supporters were found with weapons on Jan-6.
'Riot gone wild'? Doubtful. Throughout all of 2020 Trump was holding rallies all over the country. NONE of them degenerated into the looting and rioting and arson characterized by BLM and Antifa terrorists.
'Demorat false flag'? Given the whitmer 'kidnapping' orchestrated and financed by the fbi . . . the Trump-russia collusion meme . . . and many other similar lies and shenanigans practiced by the demo-rat party I find it the most believable scenario.
Another key component needs to be asking the question 'Why does this entity want me to believe something'?
The demo-rats want me to believe their obvious lies and outright deceptions so that I'll actually support their becoming our fascist dictatorial overlords . . .
Trump? He ran on 'Make America Great Again'. The four years Trump was in office he obviously was trying to make America a better place. He was bringing our manufacturing jobs back. Trump was trying to do something about the chinese unfair trade practices and their thieving of our intellectual properties. I could go on but I hope you see what I see here. And, yes, I am Pro-Trump.
I don't believe everything he says, and I'm not saying he is infallible. However, I thought the interview was worthwhile and potentially controversial. Armstrong often turns out to have a better take on what is coming down the pike than I do, so after years of grudging skepticism I try to clear an open space in my belief systems when he gives a contrary opinion.
