Bigger is not better.
a good LOCAL or regional would be better.
I perrsonally use a regional bank which is smaller yet healthy and keeps growing slowly..
Chase was criminal to my wife when her mother died and allowed theft to occur, lost her card she had filled out with her mother when she was alive to be the only person who had access to and co=owner of the safe deposit box and screwed her out of everything that was in it..
So much for Chase...
I really like two banks. My smaller one and PNC Bank..
PNC is out of Pittsburgh I beleieve but they are really good on service. My primary bank AI have been with for over 45 years.
They have expanded and grown but are still very personable and hometown if you get my drift..
OR, find a really good credit union and use them...
I have lost all trust and any faith in mega large banks and institutions. HAppy for the small local ones and credit unions that are financially strong and often much better than a bank.. It also supports the local hometown people living in it..
Just my humble opinion... and ugly experience with national banks and in particular Chase...
