Hi Fiz!

sorry to hear that. That is not only awful but gives a whole new meaning to theft.

A lawyer that actualy represents YOU is the only recourse you have as they will not resolve it with you in person or not. That is incredible.

I used fifth Third Bank in cincinnati for my businesses.
Never a problem.. The managers in the suburban outlieing communities were really helpful and nice.

I personallyuse Park National Bank and have been with them over 48 years from befre they grew into PArk National..

I get great service, a local branch manager that knows me and my wife and again, never had any issues at all.

Fifth Third is a fairly large bank with great reputation.

They have 163 offices in Illinois butthat is as far west as they go..

I would not trust any of the major ones and especially capital one who ripped off my father..

Is there any strong credit unions near you? Those are real people locally who have an interest in their local clients. Just a thought.

Hope you successfully get that issue resolved and quickly..

Hi Micro,

My problems were (1) credit union and (2) small local bank. I'd been with both of these banks for 20+ years with no problems.

How DARE they allow (without asking) on-line "deposits" of unsigned checks and then deny it being their fault. Or transferring money out of a corporate account which they KNEW had NO ACH transfers for 30+ years.

Sorry to hear Chase won't work, either. This is really scary.
