Oh yes Cactus Flower,

Broward was a can of worms, from the position of Pat Buchanan on the ballot, because of that placement many Jewish people voted for him by mistake.
That in itself would have made all the difference.

Those damn chads.

The funny thing IMO, GWB was at his ranch in Texas doing manual work, cutting brush, I got the opinion he didn't really want the job, but was talked into it.

Meanwhile Al would've helped count the votes, if he could.

IMO, that election & the one Hillary lost even though she had more than 2 million more votes, is the reason this country is a mess.

Al never would've attacked Iraq.

Just take a moment to consider that... what a difference that would have made.

Do something positive.

And in 2000, if I remember things right, something dodgy happened in Broward County, resulting in a possibly serious undercount.

As I remember it, the SCOTUS decision was the judicial equivalent of a coin toss. I thought it was a shame Dubya didn't concede on the grounds that with a result so equal, having a larger share of the vote ought to have been decisive. The SCOTUS decision cast a long shadow.
