from Zim's article it appears that the navy is looking at the H96 ultra fast and well armed boats that have speed, maneuverability, are not sitting ducks, and lots of firepower .

That is a much better combo than what we have seen before.


You could call them "FAST and Furious" to coin a phrase.. lol!!!!!

I like the idea and concept.. Your concern has been addressed as has mine and it has great potential..

Large and slow is not an answer. You are spot on..

Nimble, very swift, well armed with missiles as well as guns, is exactly what would be in order..

I for one can't wait to see one or two or one hundred over in the China theater...

Zim, I was hoping the US "strategy" wasn't going to be to deploy more large, expensive, SITTING DUCK ships which could be taken out with trivial ease by volley of drones and cruise missles (impossible to block with any existent technology, probably including laserguns).

Is there a GUARANTEED way to address that concern? It seems to me, and others, that bringing more "battleships" to a war with China in the middle of the ocean is sort of like bringing spears and stones to fend off a gattling gun (or maybe F15s are a better analog of the quaintness of putting 100 year old tech in a cyber war).

It sounds like small minds are leading the US in the military as well? I'm hoping you have a good answer? I also am curious why you would necessarily want the US to "win" if the US is just a Woke Oligarchy? Personally, at that point, I would want the US to lose -- and get off the stage. Is there a Strategy to dislodge the DemonRats also being discussed by the strategists? ....I'm serious here.
