I suppose Trump will appeal the appeal assuming he loses it, if that's possible, all in the interests of delay.

Presumably Thomas will not dismiss such an appeal, because, well, if it be he who decides, he's ever so slightly partisan.

If the US has the rule of law, the DOJ wins this one.

It's totally absurd that the judge got this so wrong. It just destroys the idea that the government has secrets and that people that steal them are culpable for it.
