Ex-Minneapolis police Officer Thomas Lane sentenced to 3 years in George Floyd's murder
Former Minneapolis police Officer Thomas Lane was sentenced Wednesday to three years in prison in the killing of George Floyd. Lane, who held down Floyd’s legs as he cried out that he couldn’t breathe, pleaded guilty in May to a state charge of aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.
