Ahhhh yes, 'President Clinton' . . .

Presided over a Yuge stock market bubble . . .

Budget Surpluses as far as the eye can see . . .

And instead of doing the sensible thing and paying down
debt while the times were good . . . the buffoon went on
a spending spree.

CLINTON'S $ 2 TRILLION TAB -- A Record Only a Liberal Could Love. From FY 1993 to FY 1996, Bill Clinton proposed 484 new federal spending initiatives. The total price tag for Clinton's liberal spending and pork-barrel projects) whopping $ 2.016 trillion. Those programs would have cost every American family over $ 4,077 a year a total of ...

And when the bubble burst . . .

How many gazillions of dollars was lost when the bubble burst and the stock market went into free fall?

This is probably an un-answerable question . . . But how many people, having lost half their life investment / savings - sold out and put the money in cash and never made it back. (I'm pretty sure my boss did something along those lines.)

What did I do? Well, I had always invested more conservatively so my 'losses' weren't that serious. I semi-followed Vanguards advice and let the stocks ride. I bought more of Vanguards Index 500 (S&P 500 index fund) and when the stock market started coming back late 2003 I went up with it.

Hi De!

I was putting two children thru college during those years.

That is when the college tuition tax credit began.. That helped with my taxes a lot during those years.

Its one of the few things I liked about him. He was and is fairly highly intelligent. Yet he has the morals of an animal.. Then again, he said 'I DO" to the BEAST so I guess over time he may have gone and continued to go crazy..

But the college tuition tax credit is what I am referring to. My bad for referring to the entire economy. Althoough my business prospered under those years.

So I had no complaint.... Plus I got to keep a little more of my income...
