Qui Bono? Luongo figures there are, at least, SEVEN factions playing this game. They can ally, and re-ally, in a vast number of configurations. In order to possibly understand what is, and what's coming, WE (I include myself) need to put aside *naive* thinking, like "My country tis of thee" or even "communist" vs "capitalist". The real players don't believe in any of these artificial labels -- they only believe in posturing and winning by changing in and out of temporarily useful memes, "beliefs", and artificial entities at the drop of a hat.
Luongo: "thinking in terms of ‘country’ is ultimately the wrong lens to view these people’s actions. Factions are the better lens. Factions cross political borders."
Luongo also brings up an interesting point, which I need to incorporate: Getting "angry" isn't very useful—it allows one to be easily controlled, as a simple tool. We (I) should strive for more self-control; acting strategically and in cold blood.
