Micro: "The problem with the games being played on the world stage right now is so few have a seat at the table with any clout to actually DO something positive and enduring for the stability and ongoing of their individual nation.. The U.S. has NEVER been weaker.. ....
The LUST for Dominance, aka POWER, has always been in the world. This is what is going on in my view. There are insiders of course but the real power that gets one a seat at the table are those who control national power and government."
I think all that is valid, especially the spiritual void. We are extremely fragile because we lack a moral compass even more than an intellectual one. And how can one respect a government like this, or a people who allowed themselves to be seduced, manipulated, or distracted into a situation like this?
Joseph de Maistre (1753-1821) wrote in 1811: "Toute nation a le gouvernement qu'elle merite." ("Every nation has the government it deserves.") De Maistre was credited with the saying in the 19th century, but it became popular in the United States in the 20th century, frequently without credit to De Maistre.
Generalizing from individuals to "a people" eventually leaves quite a void and the generalization eventually fails.
I'd like to see the US fragment so I don't have to live with the Woke Diseased, but can vote with my feet. In the meantime, I want to strengthen my head and my heart. Letting go of consumerism and "entitlement" isn't easy. Too many Eloi enable too many Morlocks.
