Good morning Fiz.

I understand what you are saying. The large population centers that are mostly cities and urban areas are almost exclusively (large majority, not all) liberal bastions.

People who are more conservative in their belief and value systems are out in the suburbs or rural areas just trying to enjoy life without the crazy left wing lunatics as much as they can.

IF everybody had the means to move to areas of their choosing that align with their belief and value systems then we would become very isolated and almost tribal.. Competing for all the ground in between..

The left is NEVER going to be satisfied no matter what you give them. They always want more and more.

They actually believe they are much smarter than any of us rubes who simply start up companies from scratch, hire people, go to work every day and just want to be left alone. They are never content and always looking for ways to take whatever YOU earned by your own hard work and effort..

THIS is The Left.. It is never satisfied and always wants more and more, except it only wants more of what someone else has and not their own..

So I see nothing but another civil war happening if moving to different fragment zones of population.

Theywill come for the conservatives who actually produce things, want small government, and savemoney because the radical left does not know how to save money. They love spending. Period.

I do not see any good outcome from my perspective.

Just my view. Others may be different..

HAve a wonderful day!

micro...

ribit,

I don't KNOW fragmenting alone would work, but it should be a lot faster and cleaner than going door to door with guns. Just split things up and let minorities vote with their feet. I think MOST people would either shift beliefs (more than you think, I think, as most people are herd animals) or MOVE.

In the case of the Civil War the country was MASSIVELY split by region. It remained mostly split for 100 years afterwards as well, and might have continued that way absent new technologies which really intermixed populations culturally and in physically.

In the case of the Revolutionary War the pro and con were pretty intermixed, as is the case now, and a lot of people chose to leave:

•1 in 20 able bodied white free males living in America died during the war
•24,000 British Soldiers were killed during the war
•100,000 Loyalist fled to Canada, the Bahamas and England during the war
•45% of colonists fully supported the war
•20% of colonists were outright loyal to Britain

•3 million is the estimated population of America in 1776

So ~600,000 British Loyalists had to figure out how to live with a government they opposed -- to to leave. Sort of like the whites who stayed in S. Africa, and rather how I feel about the current system. I'd rather move to Florida or Texas or Idaho, or someplace , I don't have to life with Zombies and Vampires and Worms.
