Re: “Nobody in their right mind would try to show up here where I am. There about 35,000 residents and most of us are prepared to defend our families and property. It would not be a pretty sight.”
In 1880, southeastern Dakota Territory was besieged by a terrible, long winter, with blizzard after blizzard that holed the citizens up in their houses for months longer than usual. One of the settlers ran out of food. His family was starving, so he trudged through the snow to the home of a prosperous young farmer. The farmer listened but apologized and told the settler that he did not have any food to spare. The settler did not accept the explanation and told him that he KNEW the farmer had seed corn and wheat. From the way the house was built, he could even tell where it was stored. When challenged like this, the younger man relented and agreed to give the settler enough grain to get his family through the winter. Before the two men parted, the farmer asked the settler what he would have done if the answer had remained "No." "Then I would have taken it," the older man said.

The settler was Charles Ingalls, who I trust you've heard of. The farmer was Almanzo Wilder. Both were good men, and some time later, Almanzo went on to marry Charles' daughter, Laura.

And the point is... that after just a short time without food, NOBODY can be assumed to be your friend. The ones you need to watch out for in hard times may not be raiding gangs who obviously don't belong.

I am curious, though: If a civil war is what's coming, what do you think Ohioans are going to do with the residents of Cincinnati? And Dayton? And Cleveland? And Columbus? And probably a lot of other cities that aren't quite so urban. That's got to be 3 million out of your state's 11 million people. It's not like they can just wall the cities off and say "That's your border. This is ours." Or do you think they can?

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Hi Fiz.

To answer your question, NO I am not living in the wronf place.
I live in gthe reddest county and township of Ohio by far.
Overwhelmingly RED. The next one over going east is also overwhelmingly red as is the one after that.

The chief of police told me personally that if someone breaks into my house and I feel threatened or fear for safety of my wife or myself, kill the sucker. If he runs outside after being shot, drag him back in. It's self defense and they are not going to file any charges against anyone defending themselves or family if they feel threatened..

So, I am in a good place. My community is like an armed outpost. We all are law abiding, stay out of the news, mind our own business, keep an eye on our neighbors and their property when they are out of town.

Exact opposite of anyone living in "Cincinnati". That county farther north in suburbs is like mine but the city itself is a cesspool in terms of political makeup, and lawlessness.

Its why I never wanted to live inside their limits or even in same county.. I built my house out in what was once "country" but has grown up since then. The great news is that its a very conservative place and area. For local elections if you are not a conservative one should not even bother running. They have no chance of ever getting elected..

In my county, last fall, a group of black troublemakers decided to test the waters in a town about 18 miles away.. It did not go as they expected.

Everyone in that community was outside lining the streets heavily armed waiting for this bumnch of 'nere do wells " to arrive. They mob showed up and when the saw what was waiting turned around and went back the other way.

They were not expecting that kind of defense of property.
That was a small town. Bethel.

Nobody in their right mind would try to show up here where I am. There about 35,000 residents and most of us are prepared to defend our families and property. It would not be a pretty sight.

So, you don't need to worry about me. Besides being old like my bro Ribs, that just means it might take us two shots to hit the target instead of just one when we wuz younger. lol.... Although there is nothing wrong with my eyesight.. Just not nearly as strong as I once was..

Yes, you are right about many of the liberal radicals. They tend to be leaches, always clinging to something someone else has done or built, but never producing anything on their own.. And they feel entitled to what YOU acheived thru hard work and many years..

anyway, I see the splintering of society which has been going on for a long time now.. It is being festered by democrats though using race baiting and friction with false narratives to keep the fires burning and eyes off of what they are really doing..

The non-perceptive (that would dumb, blind, and willfully ignorant) fall for it ALL the time, no exceptions.

So, that is how I see it.. Thanks for the concern about me. Appreciated. Not necessary.. This area is as RED and independent and freedom loving as it gets..
