I'm not expecting it to be "in days". But I suspect the collapse of the Russian army will be sudden and almost total, possibly during the next few weeks, and for sure over the winter.
Tsar Putin may end up sharing the fate of the previous tsar. Is there somewhere he will flee to rather than face execution? Saudi Arabia, perhaps?
I wonder if the 250k or so young people who fled Russia rather than being conscripted might wish to become Ukrainians? Anyone would be proud to hold a passport in the Land of Heroes. And these peaceful Russians have contributed something by electing not to fight Putin's war.
