Re: “Pretty good return on investment!”
If the story is true, I have to wonder why he stopped at just $21,000 in gains. I'd have been out there buying additional printers and computers. The buyback program has no morality. It deserves contempt and abuse from citizens.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

3d printed parts cost about $0.25 to $0.50 an ounce for materials. They look like they weigh about 1 to 2 ounces. (Remember, they are plastic, not metal.) Pretty good return on investment!
