Fizzy preface: One would have to be a dim bulb not to be able to figure out that this is escalating ... and will inevitably jump the pond to the US. I wouldn't be hard, at all, to get from the US supporting what has happened in the last week to ...say...the Brooklyn Bridge being blown up next week. And from there?
And, really, what are we (you) going to do then? If you favor this war then you ought to begin planning to take a bullet -- you know, just die for your Masters and your 'values'. In that case, grab your rifle and go the Ukraine. Even at 70 years, they can use your death for cannon fodder.
And if you/I DON'T favor this war (...coming to the US any day now), we should be ACTING to get out or go to the mat. I wish Trump would say something more specific. Until a week ago, I was planning to work though the winter. I'm beginning to think I should take an extended foreign vacation, instead...maybe salsa lessons?

Update(1435ET): Russia's state Investigative Committee has put out a statement saying at least three civilians died as a result of the attack on the Crimean Bridge, which was likely a fertilizer-laden truck bombing. "According to preliminary data, three people died as a result of the incident. They were presumably passengers of a car, which was near the exploded track. As of now, the bodies of a man and a women have been recovered from the water, their identities are being established," the committee said. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at the same time blasted what she called the "criminal logic" of some NATO officials who are positively cheering the attack. (continued at link)
