I spoke with micro. He's doing quite well - so well, in fact, that they are planning to send him home tomorrow. That would be day 4. Per Google:

You'll usually need to stay in hospital for around 7 days after having a coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) so medical staff can closely monitor your recovery. During this time, you may be attached to various tubes, drips and drains that provide you with fluids, and allow blood and urine to drain away.

I told him that they can't force him to leave tomorrow. He has to agree to such an early discharge. He should instead request one more day. He's strong and doing well, but that has nothing to do with whether he might start bleeding. As OCU could tell you, if he hadn't still been in the hospital (preparing to be discharged) when his bleed started, he would have died.

I don't like it when hospitals are in a hurry to discharge patients. If they tell you 7 days, they might get away with 5 or 6. Not 4.

If things have gone well, I would expect the staff to pull most of the "tubes" and micro to be transferred later today from ICU to a private room in the cardiac unit. Once that happens, if anyone wants to give him a call, I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
