My ENT had me using a neti pot after he lasered some swollen turbinates in my nose and corrected my deviated septum. I cannot say that forcing liquid into one nostril so that it goes through your sinuses and then back out the other nostril is the most comfortable feeling in the world, but it does clean everything out. After you do it a few times, you get more used to it. Sorta like ribit getting used to sharing space with Stacey ...

Re: “I think I posted a recent study showing that, ALONE, done twice daily, nasal irrigation reduces hospitalization > 8 TIMES.”
Thanks for all the suggestions.

I went to Wal-mart and Tractor Supply. At Tractor Supply, I picked up 5 tubes of ivermectin at $10 each. They're cheaper at Amazon but I didn't want to wait. Since I'll use ⅓ of a tube per day, I'm good for 2½ weeks. My wife says she won't take Ivermectin. That's her call and I don't entirely blame her. What I bought isn't made for people, after all, and it tastes as I'd imagine apple-scented petroleum jelly would. If the package hadn't been pretty clear about squirting the gunk beneath a horse's tongue, I'd have thought I was misapplying it.

At Wal-mart, I picked up two Neti Pots, 10% Povidone Iodine, a gallon of distilled water, a 2-pack of Covid-test kits, some disinfecting wipes for hands, some Lysol wipes for everything else and . . . two 18-roll packs of T.P. like I do every time I'm at Wal-mart just because I plan to make a castle out of the stuff one day.

I've never been Neti potted. I hope it's easy to do and that I don't drown myself.
