IMHO, dems are folks who think they could solve all the worlds problems if they just had enough power and resources. That is why the solution to every problem is to increase the power of the feds and raise taxes.

Probably because either a.) They expect to be the 'top dogs' doling out the 'socialist wealth'. Or, b.) they expect to have other peoples wealth showered on them by the 'top dogs'.
