I don't know about that. I don't see anything in that definition you posted that gives a timeline.

I've heard that the tiniest particle of plutonium, inhaled, has an almost 100 percent rate of mortality. I'd say that's about as toxic as it gets - even though death may take months.

As for cigarettes... I expect they killed Nemo. But I do see your point. Most of us would say that an overdose of cyanide is more toxic than an overdose of fentanyl. But I wouldn't like my chances with either.
