well, this may fall into the category of meaningless and nonsense, but it is a small victory in my recovery.
I was able this morning to get into my walk in shower and get cleaned up by myself... Yes it was a slow process but nonetheless felt great... One small victory on the raod of recovery... I'll take it.
Meanwhile, I need my series of hyaluronic acid injections into my right knee which is bone on bone with zero cartilege remaining. I am walking daily in my yard and looking forward going to the mall aisle corridor to walk on something better, but the knee is kinda screaming at me..
I called the PA of my surgeon and asked about it. She called back after talking to surgeon who said he did not want me doing that while on some of this medicine he prescribed and that I would likely be on for at least a year.
So that sucks and blows big time. My question for the PA then was how am I supposed to walk ? I am not buying that there would be any interference between my joint injection into the knee which is a GEL only, and any pill Doc prescribed. I think that's BS and when I see the PA next week they will likely hear that directly from me..
So I guess mostly my walking is pretty much done for until somebody actually checks this out because the PA did not even know about the joint injections at all and I had to explain them. I suspectthe cardiologist suffers from the same ignorance...
It's always something.....
