So it wasn't you. Hmmm. Maybe it was Zim? Anyone want to volunteer? Hmmm. Maybe another board. Or another life. Once I had a dream that I had forgotten to take my final exam. When I woke up I had to keep reminding myself that I had graduated 30+ years before.

What's more, it's out of character for me since I'm well aware that the FBI has *always* been a corrupt, self-serving organization feared by much of the government going all the way back to J. Edgar Hoover. Did you know that Hoover is thought to have had dirt on and been blackmailing a long-line of U.S. Presidents? Among the many JFK-assassination theories (the ones I don't reject) is that it was the FBI that had him killed over JFK's plans to fire Hoover as he had fired CIA director Dulles. (But it's a long list that also includes the CIA. And Deadpool. And Doctor Doom.) So, for you to say that I thought the FBI would "just do the right thing" is mighty curious to me. Could you please use the search function and provide me with a link instead of just relying on your human and less-than-ironclad memory?

That aside, I don't know what whatever I said about the FBI in 2017 has to do with this thread. Anything? Nope, I don't think so. Or are you just making the point that I didn't predict the extent and brazenness of the FBI's assault on a sitting U.S. President as your man Armstrong did? Hm. Except that I don't remember Armstrong ever saying that... though it doesn't matter what I remember if you say that YOU remember it... LOL.
