I am going to go to the polls with my wife soon.
The downside is my right knee needs replaced and is bone on bone. So it is painful to walk on. I am struggling to get an answer if I can get my gell cushioning shots into it and still take the couple pills cardiologist has me on.. He does not know anything about Hyaluronic acid or joint injections so I need to educate them later this week.
The orthopedic doctor said there are no known conflicts between the injections in the knee and any drug period. Zero. So that pretty well settles it as far as I am concerned. Hopefully cardiologist agrees.
Downside is I don't lkook forward to the shots as they do let ya know you had them... But the gel helps the bone on bone knee joint pain when I walk and I NEED to walk.
I am gaining strength daily.. So I do nothave to just sit or lay. I went to a store yesterday with miz micro for about half an hour to get out.. That was nice.
I am anxious to get out of the recliner and get back to bed with miz micro.. I sleep better in bed and the bed is fully adjustable just like the recliner. I don;t adjust it as I like it ever so slightly elevated at the head and the rest flat..
Sensitivity along the incision line is biggest irritant right now. Can't stand to have anything come in contact with it like pajama top for example or a flannel shirt whichis basically all I can wear in daytime..
Am hoping that sensitivity stops pretty quickly...
Other than that I am recovering pretty quicklky and still need to get rid of that double does of anesthesia two days apart from the hospital where I was prepped for surgery TWICE and first time was aborted in the O.R.
I need to get my eyes examined for new glasses and still need to see the audioilogist to receive my new hearing aids and get fitted for them I ordered weeks before this heart surgery.. They are the very top of the line in what is available with today's technologies and are not cheap but miz micro told me to get those as I would benefit from them in my travels and work.. So they are a MAJOR expense (6 grand) but fortunately a one time expense. I need new glasses as well.
Lots to do to get ready for my return to my clients in January but am grateful to be alive and cannot tell you all how much being able to read you guys when I could hardly do NOTHING was something I looked forward to daily...
