GM De!

I don't disagree with you but I think you are reading and not understanding what I actually said..

In your examples of McStain and Romney, what were the alternatives on a ballot?

So people should have voted for the far left candidate? Not that there is much difference between McStain or Romnibus, two pitiful excuses for a candidate with ANY integrity or conservative values...

In an election where there are clearly major differences between opponents and you actually have a decent, moral, candidate out of the two choices, I am only stating that just because your great, great grandfather was a yellow dog, and your grandfather, and your father, does not mean that you have to chain of ignorance going for another generation.

Try to exercise even a little THOUGHT about issues that are supported by one candidate that are not socialist or detrimental to a majority of people.. USE your brain and exercise some judgement after some thinking..

That is what is lacking in some people I know.. THEY look at some party as their GOD instead of looking at individuals and weighing what they stand for and if they are LIARS or not..

Cocky? Nah. Just making an obvious point voting habits of some in spite of the glaring red flags that they should see and be detrimental to themselves, their fellow citizens, and neighbors and family..

And this was a person with a Masters plus degree.

Which just goes to show that supposedly educated people have zero sense and are dumber than bricks in some areas of life...

Re: “but i know too many people older than me whom I have had short talks with that demonstrate they don;t vote withtheir brains or exercise any thought process or digest readily available information about a candidate..”
Don't get too cocky. What I said applies to Democrats and Republicans BOTH. Why, I seem to remember a whole bunch of people on this very board who voted for McCain and Romney on the really weak grounds that candidates they liked better "couldn't win." And guess what? That was the propaganda that they'd been fed coming right back up.

Umm, their decisions were pretty foolish and I hope those people are a little bit ashamed of themselves. McCain and Romney were both douchebags who ALSO couldn't win. People should vote for candidates they like, respect and perhaps agree with, not for candidates "who are better than some other scumbags."
