Re: “...I H I W T H!”
Probably killing Donald Trump's Presidential hopes, too. He's supposed to make an announcement about 2024 next week. My guess is that it will be a "NO."

It's not just that elections are rigged. And it's not just that he doubts he'd get enough votes. It's also that he needs a cooperative Congress to achieve his Presidential goals. And it's obvious now that, were he to be reelected, it would just be a repeat of what he went through the first time. Why would he want to put himself and his family through THAT again??

It's interesting that today's big story is that DeSantis really hit it out of the park yesterday... Donald Trump's key opponent had a great day. He's about the only one in the GOP who really did have a great day. (Yes, some other Republicans won, but only DeSantis hit a deep home run.) To me, it almost looks rigged, as if TPTB set things up to make DeSantis a shoo-in for the 2024 GOP nomination. It might sound crazy, but DeSantis *is* a typical politician in that he rose through the ranks and undoubtedly emerged as an "owned" politician.

Donald Trump is unique in that respect. DeSantis is not. We think we like him - but a few years ago, Lindsey Graham seemed like a great guy too. Now we find that he's one of Joe Biden's most loyal GOP supporters.
