Afer discussing all the pill bottles and looking at the side effects of them, we put our finger squarely on one that is a culprit causing me to have prolonged memory lapses. Its not the anesthesia. It was a certain pill that one of its side effects is exactly that, able to cause memory lapse...
I am not taking it now for at least 2 weeks to see if all this clears up. If so then its definitely that pill and doc will switch it out.... So I am anxious to see if this works. I have not in prior 16 surgeries had issues with anesthesia hanging on and causing memory lapse and FOG so I would be surprised to find that this is what was happening.
The GREAT NEWS is I can resume sleeping in my own bed tonight. Hopefully I can get a good night's sleep there instead of the power recliner at far end of house...
So will be an interesting night...
I also found out today that I did have a heart attack and did not realize it thinking it was just some chest pain..
So there is some damage to the heart but doc said he believes it will restore itself and be just fine. He bypassed Five arteries instead of four also. So I learned some things today.
I will make a full recovery and be just fine .
