Well said.

The GOP capturing the Nevada Governorship is good news. Do you have a good source on whether Laxalt is ahead on the senate race?

It is still possible for GOP to get control of the Senate; I am hoping for that.

The most hopeful thing about GOP winning Governor races is that it potentially (1) increases state power and (2) makes major election reform possible. Even without new laws, the Governor should be in a position to commit major resources to enforce the laws and jail the election fraudsters.

In that way the elections can be cleaned up and, in doing so, hopefully the right candidates will get voted in more often.

Tucker had a good monologue on the importance of celebrating the victories we got. I liked the positive spin. Senate control with even a modest House control would still get me what I was hoping for, at a minimum. Thanks for the news of the NV Governor win.

Re: “....his emotional intelligence isn't nearly so high as i would have hoped.”
Trump's personality played a big role in his many accomplishments, both business and political. I really don't care about it. He isn't my friend; I'll never be so lucky as to have him as my friend, so who cares about the personality? As I've said many times, Trump may be a bully, but as President he was OUR BULLY. When everyone else is a Swamp Creature, a bully is what's needed.

The thing I do care about is Trump's many Presidential accomplishments. I was a big fan of most of them. More importantly, he did or tried to do EVERYTHING he campaigned on. The man was honest - a refreshing change from every prior President I can think of. That aspect of his personality more than offsets the deficiencies, imo, and he should get a lot more credit for it.

My opinion is that EVERY politician who moves up the ranks becomes sullied along the way. DeSantis was a Representative before he was a governor. Where'd he get his campaign funds? Who does he now owe? Someone. You can bet on that.

Donald Trump owes no one. If he runs again - a prospect I'm not at all sure of - I'll be supporting him.
