I've probably said this before . . .

But a question that ought to be answered is "What is in it for the civilization?"

In the case of a 'normal heterosexual marriage', man weds woman, they make babies, and raise them to be the next generation of the workforce in said civilization. And I see all of that as a good thing.

Being as two gay guys can't make a baby at all . . . The question that needs to be answered is "What good does it do to give gay marriages the tax benefits and rights of married peoples?"

Next, two people in a monogamous relationship have a low risk of spreading sexually transmitted diseases. The 'gay community' frowns upon such exclusive relationships and, apparently, wants everybody mucking around with everybody else . . . Perfect breeding grounds for spreading STD's.

Zim.

The church has every right to call it a marriage. It is the government that doesn't. Federalizing marriage will end up violating the church's (and everyone's) Freedom of Association. it's just another step in forcing people to accept those freaks. Will the Federal government be forcing a church to perform a gay marriage?

Of course it will.
