De,

I agree with that, which is why I said I will still read his posts. His comments on Access programming and how the US government was actually set up as a force to increase freedom were helpful and thought provoking. And I'm sure we would get along better over a beer.

Please just delete my post, it isn't helpful to anyone; and I am beyond the editing window.

Re: “I will still probably read what you write, because some of it is interesting”
We are multifaceted individuals - sometimes right, sometimes wrong, sometimes simply seeing things from a different perspective or in a different environment. Instead of getting into an "I'm right and you're ignorant" pissing contest, why not just make some predictions that are contrary to the other person's view? They've got to be specific, though, with a due date that's not years away and a "yes" or "no" conclusion. This is what I've done in my "Russia holds superior ground and the war will be over by March 1st" post. At that point, we'll see who was right and who was wrong and can discuss it further, possibly getting folks to alter their etched-in-stone POVs.

If you don't read all of someone's posts, how do you even know which ones are interesting?
