Do you think you know where you got Covid?
I think we got it at a crowded restaurant in Vero Beach. I recall a women sitting behind us coughing and sneezing. Couple days later I started getting sick.
We had never stopped meeting people. We’d meet other boaters and go out to dinner with them all the time. And a majority of them were not vaccinated. Hardly any of the boaters we meet had ever had Covid. I think it’s because we’re outside and in the sun all the time. Over in the Bahamas we didn’t think about Covid.

An important lesson to take from the pandemic is that several of us lowered our guard and caught Covid this year. If it were a high mortality virus, a true weapon-of-war, we'd probably be dead.

Now, I can come up with excuses like, "We didn't start socially engaging until the virus had mutated into something milder" (which is true), but that doesn't change the fact that sloppiness led to our getting sick.

We'll have to be much more cautious when the NEXT bioweapon is released. It might just be paranoia on my part, but I have a feeling one is on its way.
