I had my own a few days ago. I hope you do NOT see that cardiologist again. He's not doing you any favors by bringing up something like that in an unconstructive way. It's not as if you weren't following your doctors' orders or were engaged in a destructive lifestyle. So how does it help YOU for him to scare the tar out of you? It doesn't.

Besides, he was wrong. You lived, so the surgery SHOULDN'T have killed you. If it should have, it would have.

You all have my permission to take the day off if you don't already just take everyday off. (exception to FIZ who like me when I had my companies is likely working hard)

Tomorrow is my birthday. There was a point earlier that I did not know if I would have another due to what the cardiologist said to me prior to my surgery..

He told me in no uncertain terms that I should have died on the operating table when I had my hip replaced and this one was also going to be serious.

I suspect what De had done with that valve replacement in his heart was pretty traumatic also.

I am thankful that God has my days numbered and nothing will alter HIS plans or decisions.

I am thankful for my life and especially for my wife of 48 years now. She has worked very hard to take care of me and has never complained.

Its nice to read a board like this and the information and commentary from a group of individuals who I enjoy.

Thanks everyone for all that you contribute and the information you provide week in and week out.

I appreciate your efforts!
