Yesterday after caridac rehab /therapy/exercise (all same thing) I had a trip to see the audiologist and get fitted with my new hearing aids, one for each ear..
I can answer my cell phone now by just tapping on side of my hearing aid with finger and it answers the phone and I can talk with the person via bluetooth..
It is a little different hearing some things now I did not hear before including the sound of my voice.
Most people do not actually know what their voice sounds like to others.. I have been told by some people I know in the Media and newspaper industry that I have what they call a radio voice. I have no idea what that means but I hope it does not mean I am LOUD and over bearing..
Its better to be soft and overbearing I guess.
I have discovered last night I do not need the level of volume on the t.v up where it was. In fact, I have it on second lowest setting now.. No wonder miz micro would complaini about the volume level..
These are gonna take some getting used to. I do not like them on my ears, in my ear canals, or anything else really. I do like clearer haearing.. Its too bad their cannot be a happier medium..
So my years of having the decibals of mechanical presses pounding away and have taken a toll on my sense of hearing. Oh well. These new aids are something else. Just wish I didn't have to have them sitting behind my ears on top of my glasses ear pieces, and jammed into my ear canals..
