Absolutely. NO other country on earth has a more diviersified population than the U.S. but the U.S. has had a immigration program in place for a long time.. I don;t see Switzerland being invaded by almost all of central and south America or other europeans nations.
I agree with your assessment about fighting wars on foreign soil rather than on our own..
Most people could not imagine the hardships of having their buildings, living spaces, infrastructure, water and food supplies destroyed and after the fighting finally stops, what do you have other than heaps of rubble and no water or food.
In short, MOST people in this country do not even bother to THINK before they SPEAK, thus showing themselves for what they really are..
This is oneof the reasons I enjoy reading all the commentary from everyone here. I learn and expand what I did not know before.. This is a great board full of wonderful posters who also are critical thinkers.
