I've not praised Putin's war in Ukraine as an example of "Art of War" thinking. On the other hand, unlike enemy-domestic Biden, he's not deficit spending, either. Russia has been preparing for many years to be able to weather a long siege without access to international capital markets. That is why US attempting to weaponize the SWIFT system didn't work and, mostly likely, is going to go down in the history books as one of the most brain-dead things a ruling empire has ever done.
Putin pays for all his weapons with oil, Zim. He has near infinite quantities of oil. And, in spite of that, he acts like a good steward of Russian wealth.
The US? We pay for everything with a credit card, pushing payments off onto our children and grandchildren. Do you have children or grandchildren? It is THEIR future Biden and his Democrats and NeoCons are squandering (curiously, with your enthusiastic support...)
Why don't you refute my core point: If you permanently lose vast wealth with every military adventure you undertake, how many military adventures should you aim to undertake? It is not advanced math.
