Well, since you ask, I recommend something along the lines of how Switzerland handles national defense so successfully. Nobody messes with Switzerland. Look it up if you didn't read what I previously posted several times.
Then, I recommend that anyone sufficiently bothered by foreign thugs (who aren't attacking the US) deal with their bother privately. Maybe get together with other bothered people, use their 2nd Amendment rights, organize a militia, to go "reason" with said thug? Purely privately and as freedom allows, of course. The US government should stay out of it. What would be wrong with that?
All people who are sufficiently bothered to actually vote for war, or a war representative, should be FORCED to ship themselves off to the front lines…and not come back until they have served (not commanded) the war effort. This must start with elected representatives, of course. They seem to be very 'liberal' with their ideas about what requires other people to die for their ideals.
Bolton and Cheney, Romney, Biden, and even Hillary should be FORCED to go to the front lines. So they can risk a bullet personally for what they claim to "believe" in.
This would clean up the gene pool right quickly AND make the world Safe for Democracy, all at the same time!
Some might think that unfair, but what could possibly be MORE fair or more reasonable? You are a free person with a right to bear arms and form a standing militia.
This is a modest proposal....
