I commiserate. Yet, as you said, if we are here for a purpose, are we serving it? If not, why are we still here - except to BEGIN serving it more directly and BETTER, even if we are tired?
I'm still not clear about what, exactly, my own purpose is supposed to be. My previous purpose of productive business growth seems, increasingly, a little silly in a WW4 / US Constitution collapse. However, I keep working, at least, to toughen myself a bit, learn more practical survival skills, and try to survive what is coming VERY soon (high likelihood 2023 is going to be worse than 2022, and likely worse than 2020-2022 all wrapped together).
I think, if nothing else, the world to come needs "Enlightened Men of Action" who see clearly ... and may be physically old but remain dangerous because of their example, rectitude, and skill set. And your world after, requires that, too...right? In its own way?
On the other end of this War against Enemies Domestic the dystopian world-wide prison being constructed for those to come, it will be necessary to build. Yes, first the collapse seems almost inevitable, although men like Trump, Musk, and DeSantis give me hope and, at least, provide role models of how to tough it out effectively. The STRONG EXAMPLES are needed for all the rest of us!
