If you want to read just a portion of the book, something with a tremendous amount of meat to it, that's the one. You may find some of the references confusing, but having skipped the first nine chapters what would you expect ?

By the way, my notes, comments and excerpts from and about the book are now 23 pages long. That wouldn't be the case if it wasn't such a winner.

You also might want to check out some of the interviews with the author, on YouTube. Links to two good ones (particularly the second video) follow. You may notice that between the two there appears to have been a considerable deterioration of Mr. Griffin's appearance and health even though not much time passed. I certainly noticed it, and he does explain it toward the end of the second video.

My friend and I are doing 5 chapters a week so I kind of doubt you can catch up - especially since I wouldn't advise skipping anything. Maybe chapter 1, which describes how the Federal Reserve was created, who did it and why. But in some ways, that's the biggest eye-opener there is. It's stuff that very few people know or understand - though, on AtomicBobs, we've discussed a lot of it over the last fifteen years. (We've discussed a lot of everything over the last fifteen years.)

"Creature" has impressed me and I would recommend it to all here. Actually, I wish everyone EVERYWHERE would read it. It would make the country a better place. After 5 chapters, my buddy said "It's the most impactful book I have ever read," so there's one rave review. I don't know if it can continue that way for a full twenty-six chapters since I think my knowledge of the subject is pretty good... but maybe it will.
