My soundcard came to life for a short while... so I took the opportunity to extract the templates and store them outside of Dragon. My voice recognition software is probably gone until I get and install a bluetooth headset, but at least I won't lose the templates in which I am considerably invested. Without a detectable microphone, Dragon greys out all template functionality including the ability to see them, so I was worried that they might be gone at one point.

First, SARS-CoV-2 is a type of cold, not a type of flu. I know that referring to it as a flu is something folks have done from the start, but I've never understood their thinking. As someone who has caught the flu on a couple of occasions, I can tell that the flu is *not* something to make light of. It'll have you vomiting, hallucinating, crapping yourself, and in a great deal of stomach, head and muscle pain FOR DAYS. It's a thoroughly miserable experience. But Covid-19 comes from a type of cold virus. If you want to belittle it, refer to it as a cold, not as a flu for crying out loud!

Second, I have to wonder if the FDA's change of heart with regard to the Pfizer vaccine will lead to any change in its vaccination recommendations. Hah. I know the answer. Of course it won't. The FDA isn't about to admit that it was wrong.

Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine has been linked to blood clotting in older individuals, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

It doesn’t prevent you from getting the Flu, but it does cause clots. So Instead of being called a vaccine. Shouldn’t it be called a Clotting Agent?
