The question needs a little adjusting imo.
My Patriotism is for my country, the one that was won by the blood and lives of patriots who loved their country more than life itself. Its politicians I despise for the most part. Not all. Just most.
People like the current potus do not deserve the respect of a dog turd. In fact, by their actions they demonstrate their utter desire to take down the country to suit their own selves, the rest of everyone else who lives here be damned...
When I last read our founding documents, it was a government OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, and BY THE PEOPLE. Dementia Joeo and the commies he associates with seem to forget about "THE PEOPLE" and make everything about what they want. me,me,me.. Like petulentt little kids..
Ribs and I will stand at attention for our Flag, for the NATION, citizens, it represents, and will obey lawful orders given by our commanding officers.
With today's military it is difficult to put a handle on what the troops believe about their loyalty and to whom allegiance is due..
I always have believed it is my duty to defend the citizens of the UNited States. I still believe that.
It's not the military as a whole and lump sum that is rotten. Its the brainwashed liberals who are at the Pentagon and currently in charge under a brain addled President who can get away with most anything.
THAT will change with a change in administration.
So, I guess as of the moment, until shown and proven otherwise, I still support the troops but will despise the upper leadership....
Still loyal to my country as there isn't any place on earth better. I know I prefer a quiet peaceful island with a do not disturb posted sign, but since that isn;t happening, I will be content with such things as I have and trust in God and HIS Words..
We aren't going to be here forever and at some point HE is coming to take His own out of here anyway.. I have and every beliver has assigned angels to watch over them so what do I have to fear really?
Anyway, I get what you are saying but I see the entire thing slightly different but I still despise the traitors..
