That's amazing. The farther north and east one is, the less impact of this arctic blast. You already got a good amount of snow earlier then..
Here in southwest Ohio we will get some snow during a winter but it usually is not a whole lot at one time.

I suspect the Ohio River valley has some effect on weather patterns . I have a full five inches laying from overnight and its still snowing. It is a beautiful white blanket.. My dog loves it. He was out running in it earlier. He has long legs and a long body. Typical herding dog. He also weighs about 65 pounds and is not fat or heavy.. I sometimes believe that the dog is smarter than me.. I may be right. This Red Heeler, Yellow Lab mix is very smart. He is also very affectionate. He's a licker.

So Charlie and I will go outside for awhile and play in the snow a few times today.

Re: “DE, HOW did you guys fare with this event?”It's nothing special, but it's not over yet. The temperature at 7:50 a.m. is 49° and headed to 51° - the warmest we've seen in a month. It's blustery and raining. We had a foot of snow before the storm and half of it is now gone. It's quickly melting.

This kind of wind and rain could easily drop some trees and cause a power outage. I've filled the tub - just in case - but I think the strongest wind is already behind us.
