This post grew out of some off the cuff thoughts about what the Republican controlled house might ideally be able to achieve. I would like to know everyone else's ideas on what the Republican House could realistically accomplish. Assume the House concentrated really hard, had immense courage, authentic patriotism TO THE CONSTITUION, had the "grace of God" behind them, and put the best interests of the people FIRST. None of the "politics" that got us here.
That said, this is my opinion:
IMO, the only real power this Republican Legislature POTENTIALLY has is the power to strip the government naked to stand trial in the full light of day, televised to the whole world. There is no meaningful "legislation" to pass. Any legislation which might actually repair any of the damage which has been done would never pass the Marxist Senate and be signed by our CRIMINAL in Chief. Indeed, there are more than a few RINOs in the slight Republican House majority. Anything which might pass legislatively will be either a Trojan or a distraction - either will only cause more damage. Real Marxists NEVER deal in good faith; that is, ipso facto, against their "Rules for Radicals".
What the House COULD do is have lots, and lots, and lots of incisive hearings on potential CRIMINAL / Unconstitutional+ Unethical activity. It could line up mountains of “embarrassing” evidence, which MIGHT make a difference in 2024, about just how much a POS, self-serving, purchased “government” we have. It could get to the bottom of whether our elections are all frauds...or if, indeed, mostly they are clean. The Dems who are honest should want the truth: if it they are clean, they have nothing to fear...and the thorough investigations will only make clearer how righteous and honest they are! The same goes for the Republicans and whatever few elections went their way.
I think the US is done for, I think that is irreparable: Way too many people in this country don't want the Constitution as originally intended. And then there are way too many people who don't want to live here if the government isn't in strict compliance with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, literally interpreted word by word.
IMO, there is way, way, way too much "diversity" for the US Constitutional Republic to continue. That said, the best thing I can imagine for the good citizens of the US, and for the good people of the world, as a whole, is for the peaceful, negotiated dissolution /division of the "50 states". Maybe agreements on trade and mutual defense can be arranged. That sounds "radical", but it is, in fact, all the original agreement called for. IN TRUTH, VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING THE "UNITED STATES" DOES IS ACTUALLY, CLEARLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL. THAT MEANS EVERYTHING IS *ILLEGAL* AND EITHER HAS NO STANDING....OR DESERVES LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL PENALTIES. (Probably in the hundreds of millions of court cases, if we really were to try to clean things up).
Let the nonproductive, loser Marxists live in nonproductive, loser Marxist states - let them take in as many illegals as they wish; let them sexually mutilate all their children; burn all their buildings to the ground; "share" all their "wealth"; etc.
Let the productive, Constitutionalists, live in states where they can produce and have UNEQUIVOCAL rule of law.
Do the separation quickly and without any killing, nor further “politics”. Use the civilized dissolution of the British Empire and the USSR empire as models. Create an better example of in the US empire voluntarily, thoughtfully dissolving in orderly, reasonable fashion.
Now, that is my fantasy. I don't actually expect things to go that way. But it would provide a cleaner foundation from which things might go forward. And, my goodness, it would be a GLORIOUS testimony to what the US Constitution and Bill of Rights was really all about.
